School is so much fun! We are learning all about the American Revolution. I also went to Betty's house and Mother came along to meet Betty's ma. While they talked in the sitting room, Betty and I went up to her room and played with paper dolls she had cut out of magazines. When it was time to go home, Betty asked me if I would come to her party. I said I would ask Mother and tell her in school tomorrow. At home, Mother said that I could go if I behaved myself and was polite to everyone at Betty's party. Sometimes I wish I wouldn't always have to be so polite, but I'm glad I can go.
