The last candle I made was an ice candle. We had to break the ice in smaller chunks, so Mrs. Clymer put the ice in a bag. Then she dropped a weight on it and POWIE!!! The bag split open and cold ice flew everywhere. I had fun smashing the ice. I used a square container and slowly poured purple wax in it to one quarter of the mold. Then I put some ice in and more purple wax and let it dry.
The candle making class was an enjoyable experience for me. Now when I see candles I know how hard it is to make them.
